When life gives you lemons…

My son, Owen, was 5 years old when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. He experienced some of the sourness too. My husband and I decided to share a general understanding of what was happening with my health. Owen was a huge reason for me to keep fighting—his hugs, kisses, and loving glances, free from judgment when he saw my bald head, melted my heart and taught me the true meaning of unconditional love.
